The colour is gold; the liquid is somewhat cloudy. The big off-white head consist of large bubbles. It sinks slowly leaving some lacing. Some yeast is left in the bottle.

The smell is hoppy and a bit sweet. Some citric bitter notes; mostly lemon but also some orange peel. Hints of yeast end metal.

The taste is semi-sweet with a distinct bitterness. Some yeasty-earthy notes, hints of green grapes and fresh flowers. The hoppy flavours includes grass and lime. The aftertaste includes some alcohol, a growing metallic bitterness and earthy unclean flavours.

The carbonation is strong; the small bubbles fresh, almost sharp.

A pilsner, unclean and unclean in booth looks and flavours.

Ängöl Alla Tiders Prima Lager, ABV: 5.0%.
500 ml bottle, 27.90 SEK at Systembolaget (in Kalmar).

A: Hazy yellow and golden look, with a big and fluffy white head that leaves nice retention.

S: Fresh, hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, grapes, citrus and elderflower.

T: Fresh flavours of fruity, floral and bitter hops, with notes of grass, green grapes, lemons, grapefruit and pineapples. Pleasant.

M: Notable carbonation and body. Warm and bitter finish.

O: A different kind of Pilsener - unfiltered and unpasteurised - made partly with wheat malt and hops from New Zealand, as well as Pilsener malt, Munich malt and Saaz hops, by a small Swedish brewer. I really like it - it's cousy. A great beer, for sipping and relaxing in the sun on a warm summer's day, or paired with classic food.
