A: Pour is very dark brown, almost black, with hues of red. The tan head is creamy and tall, sinks into pretty nice lacings.
S: Liqourice, dark roasted malts, roasted and a bit smoked. Chocolate malt is obvious. Some fruit in the back. Dry rather than sweet.
T: Follows the nose, but in the taste there's also some dark dried fruits, stronger taste of liqourice and the smoke is heavier. Some coffee.
M: Long lovely bitter and smoky aftertaste. Body is medium to full while carbonation is moderate.
O: This is a very nice Baltic Porter, perhaps a higher ABV would have made it more complex.
