33cl bottle: best before 18 Apr 2013, poured into an 'Augustijn' chalice on 18 July 2012.
Brewed for a beer shop in Wenduine (where I got it).
Lovely amber body with a thin but full off-white head. The head stayed throughout the tasting.
The nose is malty and semi-sweet with a yeast kick as it warms in the chalice.
The taste is also a semi-sweet malty molasses flavour with both toffee and caramel in the mix. The beer however isn't just about the sweetness, there is a dry, bittering, hop undertone too.
Easy drinking beer: glad I found the tasting room and shop this beer is brewed for.
