On tap at Tribeca Tavern in Raleigh under the name Valkyrie. New name, same recipe I'm told.
A - hazy orangish gold with a little white head that has no retention
S - big yeast notes featuring heavy clove and banana
T - yeasty, spicy clove, banana, faint plum
M - crisp, thin, light bodied
This is an easy to drink hefe. It's pretty heavy on the yeast and a bit thin at times, but it has decent flavor even if the plum doesn't come through. It's a nice try at a new twist on an old classic.

Got this growler for me and the wife to split,I had higher hopes for this from things heard, honestly I wasnt really impressed.Poured alight lemon yeloow with a large fluffy crown that held well,clove-like phenols, hard water, and some of that stone fruit plum in the aromas, the hard water/mineral element isnt very appetizing in my opinion.Clovey phenols, that hard water, and faint lemon on the palate, the mouthfeel is very thin,I would even say watery.I know its a summer style beer and its going to be light, but this is to light and has to many oddities going on for me to enjoy.
