Yes this is definitely hoppier than the flagship beer, but its much MUCH better than a B-. Very hoppy at first then carmel/malty. You won't know that its as high alcohol as it is. I could easily drink a few.
More to come when I'm not on my blackberry here in the taproom.

On tap in the Twisted Pine tap room. Pours a dark tannish color with a lasting slightly off white head, with decent lacing. Smelled very sweet, with slight citrus notes. Tasted as sweet as it smelled, very hoppy, mainly cascade, doesn't taste as boozy as it is. Overall it was a good effort put forth, it was nice to try a Twisted Pine beer that was actually hoppy, it's a good answer for the lack of hops in their Hoppy Boy. Overall a decent first effort into something different for Twisted Pine.
