Poured into a nonic pint glass.

Look: A cloudy soft burnt straw yellow body sits under an enormously frothy thick white head that takes a long while to recede, leaving massive horizontal swaths of foam lacing in it's wake.

Aroma: Light buttery malt, earthy green cucumber notes, subtle natural sugary sweetness, light hop tang.

Taste: The taste starts out really sweet a with soft malt and grain bill that is covered in tons of sweet cucumber notes. The cucumber taste is almost a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, with the sugary notes lingering until a lightly hopped, tangy clean finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium to light, smooth and dry.

Overall: Extremely impressed with his beer, it's refreshing, sweet, and smooth. The cucumber taste is not overdone. It is really well balanced.

Large shared bottle.
Pale golden body with lively high carbonation.
A lot of cucumber in the nose and almost as much in the flavor.
Smooth.
O: readily recommended to fans of beer & cucumber.

a new trend perhaps, as this is not the first cucumber beer ive had this early summer season. this one pours a pale ale looking brass color, nice and clear, with an inch of permanent white foam on top, nothing out of the ordinary. the nose is cucumber heavy, but more in a perfume sense than a garden fresh sense, which is a turn off, but the malt smells light and fresh, and it has a faint bittering hop element that's comforting to me. fortunately, the taste is much better than the nose, and the cucumber does taste fresh, but slightly waxy like the skin rather than the flesh, but maybe im nit picking here. light in all other respects, and the feel is lovely, soft and refreshing. I think this would approach epic if it was served ice cold from a nitro tap, it seems to need that to bring out its creamy textures and let the cucumber really refresh the drinker. still, this is a beer that's pretty damn good as it stands, and one I will almost certainly buy again this season. better than the others ive had, and one of the better twisted pine beers ive had really. well worth the money, if just for experiences sake.

Had this at the brewery!! So pretty interesting beer here. Going off memory. Pours up a light gold to straw color. Decent white head. The nose is big cucumber. Pale malts and cucumber. Very pleasant. The taste is cucumber for sure. Lots of it. Now when eating a cucumber, you have the sweetness and the bitterness. This was leaning more towards the bitter aspect of a cucumber. Pale malts as well in the flavor. Light bodies. Easy carbo. Good beer
