22oz bomber into pint glass.
Slightly hazy copper appearance. The head is light tan and about an inch thick, and holds decently.
A light and dry grainy malt aroma is hidden behind some piney hops.
Less sweet and more hoppy bitterness is how this one presents itself. Some alcohol can be tasted in the finish. Thin bodied with higher carbonation for a crisp feel. Finishes dry with a lingering metallic taste, with some of the hops staying along.
A little more bitter and less sweet than other versions. Still, it's decent. This one is probably best fresh, or on-tap.

22oz bottle purchased at Domaney's Wines & Liquors, Great Barrington, MA.
Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 3/4" tan head over the deeply reddish amber brew. Head is lasting, with good lacing. Aroma is malty, with dark fruits. Flavor is of toasty malts, tinged with fruit. Mouthfeel and drinkability both good, with the fruit assertiveness keeping both from rating any higher. Have to keep an eye out for this one fresh on-tap next year.

Bright dark copper color with a thinnish head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, and whiffs of Hallertau. Nice.
They pretty much nailed the flavor on this one - clean honey-caramel sweetness overlying a slightly grainy (in a good way) malt base, with a subdued Hallertau hoppiness. The finish is nicely balanced between maltiness and faint bitterness. Very slightly thin mouthfeel, but very, very quaffable. I prefer this to Sam Adams Ofest hands down - a lot cleaner. That little brewery (looks like a 4 barrel system) puts out a fine brew.
I picked up two bombers on the way out - they'll be cracked open on Tuesday.
