Dark amber/light brown. Appears to be clear. Lasting, but minor head. Good steaks on the glass.
Heavily malty with a deep sweet roasted nose. Little to no hop.
Tastes like a mildly hoppy brown ale. Lots of caramel, semisweet. The bitterness is an earthy, white pepper combination. Rich body from the residual sugars, equally high carbonation. Overall, one could say this is a sweeter Amber.

A: crystal clear; deep bronze in color; 1 finger white head that receded to a wispy cap; very nice lacing;
S: virtually all malt;
T: follows the nose; very mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;
O: perhaps this is misclassified as an American IPA; I would have scored it slightly higher as an English IPA;

This beer pours a translucent Amber color and has a subtle scent of hops and malts. The taste is rather balanced and not overpoweringly hoppy. Overall, a balanced and average beer.
