Bottle from Nejaime’s wine cellar in Lenox MA.
Pours a fairly clear medium gold color with a huge tan head that slowly dissipates to a cap and lots of lace. The nose holds lots of malty caramel and toffee with huge English earthy sulfur mineral water aroma to it. The flavor is rich and malty with a fair amount of toffee and caramel coming through. Light earthy hop to counter but this one remains a malty affair. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Decent English style pale ale, I enjoyed it.

A: Pours a cloudy auburn with frothy white head that fades very slowly leaving nice lacing on the glass.
S: Very hoppy aroma. Fresh citrus and pine. Some light malt as well.
T: Nice hop flavor. Citrusy with hints of grapefruit and lemon zest. Malt is present as well with some nice carmel sweetness.
M: Light to medium bodied with ample carbonation.
D: This is a nice APA. Good flavor and goes down easy. I'll definitely pick this one up again.

This is an odd Pale Ale. It seems closer to a British Pale Ale than an American. I've been buying it in bombers ever since stopping into the brewery this summer. The sweet malts balanced with some odd hop choices are what make me crave this beer. Very drinkable, but many friends found it overly sweet and disorganized. Give it a shot!

Poured from a 22oz gold foil capped bomber into a pint glass.
Appearance: This pale ale pours a light copper in color, medium sized white head with good lacing and retention all around. Nice coloring and slightly cloudy appearance.
Smell: A beautiful aroma of fresh citrus is first noticed, followed by a sweet underlying crystal malt backround. Grapefruit, mango, honey and a tinge of malt spice make this one a pleaser in the nose. A bit of metallic undertone is present but not enough to affect this brew too much.
Taste: Pine like hops zip through the palete, citrus and mango treat the tastebuds sharply, letting off for just a small hint of malt backbone which isn't fairly noticeable. Hops play the big part here. A bit sour to say the least, with that metallic hint from the nose showing up here as well. Not bad tasting at all just a bit sour and unbalanced.
Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation, light bodied on the tongue with a decent amount of bitterness. Sits on the tongue fairly well and holds up on the palete.
Drinkability: Being a bit unbalanced, this one needs some work. Hops run rampant and can't find a good balancing point between the malt which makes this a little too hoppy for an APA. Metallic finishes in the aroma and taste along with a bitter sour finish on the palete make this brew a bit hard to enjoy. It had it's good points, but I'd much rather have their IPA over this one any day to say the least.

Pale copper colored with a thin off-white head that settles out very quickly.
Low aroma of bready malt, ripe fruit, honey and floral hops.
Thin flavor of grassy hops, metal, piney bitters, and some honey malt with notes of cinnamon. Sharp hop bitterness lingers.
Thin mouthfeel, a little slick, manages to have a tingle in the finish.
Pretty average, but decent drinkabiity.
