Color like a tarnsihed copper kettle. Thin light tan head. Floral hops aroma combined with sourdough bread. Taste is perfumy, in a good way, like a kolsch, with an underlying malt fruitiness. Almost saison-like lemony floral notes with a snappy biting crispness in the finish. Mouthfeel is nice, pleasant. High drinkability -- a great session pint, and a fantastic warm-weather beer. Not quite as good as Anchor served fresh in SF, but pretty damn close. Nice job once again, Barrington.

I had this Cali common form the bottel at the brewery. Had a nice amber color and a nice thick head that stuck around. Anchor still has the best rendition of this beer, but Barrington's was close and very tasty.
