A pale yellow beer with a white head but not so persistent or elegant.
The nose is clearly citrusy, bergamot-style, with a floral note that then gives way to a light but present malt.
A pleasant bitterness on the palate, herbaceous, still citrusy, and a light malt finish. The bitterness stays for a long time, but isn't tiring—quite the opposite.
The brewery describes it as a West Coast Pilsner.
