On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Black colour, large tan head. Distinct aroma of roasted hazelnuts, also chocolate and vanilla. Flavour mid between dry and sweet, moderate notes of hazelnuts, chocolate, vanilla and mild coffee. Moderate bittering hops. Well balanced.

Pours a deep black color with a big top of beige head that dissolves slowly.
Aroma is of nuts,chocolate and vanilla.
The taste starts of sweet with a roasted malty background. I sense both nuts and chocolate strong in the flavour. It then finish of with a slight bitterness.
Mouthfeel is smooth and silky, but a little watery. Moderate carbonation with a full body.
A good and solid porter.
