On-tap at Bir & Fud in Rome.
Pours a slightly hazy light copper color with a one-finger white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving solid lacing.
Smells of pale malts with faint hops - hints of floral and grassy aromas.
Tastes similar to how it smells. Mildly grainy pale malt flavors up front are joined quickly by good amounts of earthy hop flavors. Midway through the sip the hops gain some more character with the addition of light citrus flavors that carry through to a moderately bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with decent carbonation.
Drinkability is OK. I finished my glass without any problems however I'm not sure about another.
Overall this was basically a punchless APA. Nothing about it was necessarily flawed but the lack of robustness will steer me away from having another.
