On draught at Revelation Craft Brewing, Rehoboth Beach, DE.
Pours a clear brassy and golden color, with dark hints of amber. A nice looking moderate foam head retains well and leaves saucer like rings of lacing.
Aromas of sweet cereal grain, biscuit, honey and caramel. Hops aromatics are also present, evoking fruity and floral spices.
Clean Pilsner and Munich malt flavors yield a moderate sweetness. Biscuity, lightly toasty and with notes of dry cracker and caramel. Semi sharp earthy and herbal spices add a nice balance, as well as a super clean hops bitterness. Hops flavors evoke grassy, floral and fruity flavors, particularly, grapefruit and orchard fruit. Nicely well balanced overall.
Light to medium bodied with a semi crisp yet slightly chewy mouthfeel. Carbonation is moderate to lively.
This was a solid Amber Lager, very refreshing. Clean yet complex. I would have again.
