Cloudy, even dusty, in fact it is opaque. The color is a rusty ochre with no head to speak of. The aroma is marvelous - American apple cider, limoncello, overripe pineapple, lemonade, mango, and oak are all here. I was concerned that the combination of bitter and sour in this beer would make it taste something like bile, but with this hop varietal it makes so much sense - the very fruity character of the hops blends perfectly with the lambic base. It is wildly tropical - papaya, brown sugar and rum, malic acid, sour kiwi, and caramel all combine for a very impressive, very unique beer. You could even shake it with ice and pass it off as a really nice, tropical, kinda grapefruity cocktail. I want to have this on a beach.
