Sometimes experiments work, and sometimes they don't. This one pours quite murky with very little head. The nose is boozy esters...you can tell this is a strong one...and there are some citrus notes in the back. However, it is pretty one-sided with those alco-blond-esters. Taste doesn't add much, but is actually even more pronounced alcohol and high ABV blonde yeasty notes...and that citrus in the back. Honestly, the barrel ageing doesn't do this one favors. The base beer can't stand up to it, and its a bit of a boozy mess.
