This is a very nice beer to look at. It has excellent colour and a robust head that complements the overall package. I'm partial to Irish reds, so this is an easy sell for me. The multiple flavours make this beer stand out - caramel, toffee, and a bit of brown sugar. Rescue Red finishes dry and supports a great cause.

Appearance - Pours a rusty red with three fingers of foamy tan head.
Smell - leafy, earthy, and floral hops, caramel/toffee malts, light buttery aromas.
Taste - Starts off with the caramel malts, toffee, then the leafy, earthy, and floral hops present themselves in a light fashion. The buttery notes end the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp and dry with a lingering sweetness from the malts.
Overall - A enjoyable Irish red that showcases an excellent malt profile with the hops providing a genuine supporting cast. I admire the tribute of this brew to the heroic folks at the Banff Fire & Paramedic department.
