Triple IPA brewed in celebration of their 500th brew.
Appearance - Pours a light copper with a finger width of off-white head.
Smell - Sweet caramel malts, earthy and leafy hops, hints of pine resin, orange peel.
Taste - Strong flavour of the sweet caramel malts, with light bitterness of hops. Hints of pine resin and orange peel in the finish, but predominantly malty.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes with lingering malty flavour.
Overall - I was expecting far more hops from this beer. They are drowned out by the malts, which is a tad disappointing for a celebration brew.
