Banff Avenue's latest community brews supporting the Banff-Canmore Community Foundation.
Appearance - Pours a medium brown with two fingers of light brown head.
Smell - earthy and leafy hops, maple, nutty aromas, bready caramalts, cocoa, hint of coffee bean, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy and leafy hops upfront. The maple, nutty aromas and nuttiness, cocoa, and bready caramalts come through next. The hint of coffee bean and earthy yeast finish off the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth and creamy with the maple, nuttiness, cocoa, and malts lingering.
Overall - Another pleasant brew from the folks at Banff Avenue. This one boasts the flavours of maple and nuttiness very well. A flavourful brew that supports a good charity.
