Had on tap at Banff Avenue Brewing Dec 27/11.

Appearance- Dark copper red with thin head and slightly opaque.

Smell- Cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and ginger aromas present. Slight caramel sweetness detected as well.

Taste- The spices were detected in the taste. It had a nice balance between bitterness and sweetness. The finish was dry which made it refreshing.

Mouthfeel- Medium bodied with good carbonation. As mentioned before, has a nice dry finish.

Overall- A nice first winter offering by Banff Avenue Brewing. The balance between sweetness and bitterness was pleasant. Could be a touch more sweet but other than that a refreshing winter warmer.
