A Bavarian style unfiltered wheat beer, also
known as Hefe-Weizen. A unique brew with a light color, body & flavor. Wild Card Wheat tastes great.

Had this on 2009-09-16 at their location in the Eldorado.
Advertised as a Bavarian style Hefe Weisse and they aren't kidding. It was pretty darn authentic with lots of grain and banana in the nose and even more banana in the taste. It was well-carbonated with a good mouthfeel and very refreshing. Remiinded me of a Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse Natürtrub but with a more pronounced banana taste.

Pours deep & somewhat dark yellow, nearly opaque with the sediment, and a glorious contrasting white head.
Nose is up to par for a hefe-weizen. Plenty of yeasty/bready notes, banana, and touch of lemon.
Palate - this one is a BANANA monster! Huge banana, more than most hefe-weizens exhibit, with minimal clove and spice in the background.
More flavorful than the average domestic interpretation of a Hefe-weizen. I was expecting something rather weak like a Blue Moon or Widmer.
