Pours a burnt caramel golden with a white head. Aroma offers some vinegar, grapes, a touch of some sweeter fruits, and some vanilla from the oak barrel. Flavor offers some of the grapes and the sweeter fruits, oak, vinegar, and some hops in the back-end, though it might have just been the oak giving off some bitter woodiness. Either way it was really good and gave it an extra quarter point in the rating for being able to pack such a punch at 5% abv. Medium bodied, some activity to the mouthfeel. Overall, really nice sour ale here. Would happily drink again. Had I brought my growler, I would have left with it filled of this.
