Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a cloudy, vibrant, amber-caramel coloring, with a thin, sparse, off-white head. Nose of heavy sweetness, with caramel, tangy crème, vanilla, banana, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Flavors are heavy booze forward, with bourbon and vanilla dominating the taste buds. Subtle spice blend, with toasted caramel notes on the palate, but everything is dominated by the bourbon barrel characteristics. Spiced, boozy aftertaste, with a lingering sweet finish and building warmth.
