If I poured this blind and made people guess, it would be really interesting to see what people would think it was. Nice and boozy. Wish I had more than a 22

Look: pours a hazy golden color. Small white head that doesn't linger too long. Little lacing.
Smell: lots of malt and grain. Small hints of tangerine and spicy hops.
Taste: Malt and grain forward. Nice breadlines. Some spicy hops and a pleasant bitterness at the end.
Feel: Nice carbonation. Crisp but a nice pleasant bitterness on the end.

I'm a die hard IPA man so this was a bit of a leap for me. Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a pilsner glass. Everything about this beer was a pleasant surprise. I like the combination of bitterness and malt. It has a lasting taste that refreshes and lingers on the palate, making you want more. I only wish that it was easier to find. I highly recommend it.

22 ounce bottle into a pilsner glass.
Pours hazy at the pour, a golden/peach, average head with a careful pour, lots of soapy cling. Looks good. Smells of hops and malt, a wheaty, grainy aroma. Also a bit peppery. Taste leans to malt forward, but the hops balance it pretty well. Bready, good amount of bitterness throughout. Crisp, dry, smooth.
This is not a style I have often, nor my favorite, but this is a really good beer and example of the style. Flavorful and enjoyable. Hard to find, but try it if you can.

Tangerine orange color; hazy; thick, foamy head. Big cereal grain aroma; biscuits and crackers; grass. Generally malt-forward flavor; mildly phenolic and slightly boozy; bitter. Heavy bodied; thick and chewy mouthfeel; sticky; somewhat dry and astringent.
A nicely done double pilsner. It may come across a bit bitter and astringent for some but it does have a nice malt balance and flavor to complement its big alcohol presence. It's definitely worth a try.
