Yellow and hazy, fair head and ok lace.

Aroma is yeasty up front, with some wheat and grass notes, and a nice crispness that's not hoppy but has a feel reminiscent of a light hop bite.

Body is pretty good, thick and rich, yet way easy to drink, and very thirst quenching.

Had at Choice City Deli in Fort Colliins, CO.

L:. Pours a slightly hazy dull straw yellow with a small white head and no lacing.

S:. Fresh grain and wheat mixes with a very pleasant blood orange

T:. Nice wheat and grain, mixes with lemon and a very pleasant blood orange. The blood orange compliments the rest of the wheat beer very nicely.

F:. Soft pillowy mouth feel and easy drinking.

O:. This beer shows how blood orange should be done in beer.

Look * hazy with only about 1 finger head - retention is ok but recedes quickly - continues to bubble with some lacing
Smell * some wheat - tangy earthiness - and strong citrus/orange
Taste * sharp bitter bite from fruit and maybe some from hops - some wheat - some malt - very tart - not much on the German yeast or banana clove typically in a hef
Feel * barely in the medium body category - pretty thin and oily
Overall * this is decent - wouldn't but a 6 pack (bought as a single in a mixed 6) - ok to try a few times here and there - better on a hot day out in the wilderness - decent

Extremely pale, more like a Wit in color. Quite flabby foam and some sharp carbonation. Nothing creamy about it. Extremely light mouthfeel and a tart sensation.

This tastes more like an American Wheat, and a pale one. There is just a hint of malty taste, but mostly it's club soda with a lemony note. This gets close to sourish and finishes with a bitterish twang. This doesn't seem to have much life in it. It's just oddly tart and lemony with a touch of dishwater.

From the 22 oz bottle bought at Wilbur's Total Beverage in Fort Collins.
