I bought a Howler of it at Liquor Shed.
It pours a clear reddish brown with a small and quickly receding head of foam. Lacing is near non existent.
Smells spicy with some cloves and nutmeg and very malty overall.
Malty sweet with lightish cloves and nutmeg..very smooth and somewhat warming.
Medium body with light carbonation.
This fits the style line to a T. Well done Grimm Brothers.

22 oz bottle served cold into an imperial pint glass.
Hazy amber color with thick white head and great retention. It never seems to settle.
Aroma is big on banana with sweet caramel malt undertones.
Flavor is rich and malty with good depth and balance.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated.
Overall a very solid american version of this classic German style.

A nice deep hazy mahogany-brown with anice foamy but thin style bubbled khaki head. Malty aroma filled with raisin, maple syrup, caramel. Flavor followed suite starts off with some bread and raisins, not really my thing as I am just starting to be able to handle the raisin profile in beer and its just too dominant in this one for me, but then finishes with some nice sugary caramel and even a little maple, which I did like. A little alcohol does also sneak through. Medium body, some activity, some silkiness. Overall, a good beer but not sure its my style over all.
