22 oz bottle. Pours hazy reddish amber with a big creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is subdued - biscuity caramel malt with grassy piney hops.
The flavor is sweet toasted biscuit malts with fruit and grassy piney hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, an OK IPA. I don't really care for the biscuit malt and grassy hops. It's for a good cause though.

Wasn't sure what to label this as its a hybrid style, an India Pale Kolsch
Pours a hazy dirty blond with an off white head that somewhat quicly recedes. A pretty great aroma of some nice fruitiness, blending of citrus and peach, that stands the strongest, but there is some graininess from the lager yeast there hiding out underneath. Flavor comes across just as the style would suggest; graininess and cracker along with the hops that lean more towards the citric and grassy, but with a touch of peach in there as well. Unfortunately, there is a bit of soapiness in the finish which is a bit of a buzzkill and did dock the taste at least 3/4 of a point, and probably even closer to a full point. A creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, Grimm Brothers with another interesting and enjoyable beer here up until that soapy finish. Would love to try again but when they brew a batch without the soap.
