pours a very nice deep amber with a small white head that eventually dies down to a nice lace that last throughout the entire dirnking session. smells of light malt with a touch of hops and caramel. the taste is rather hoppy for an oktoberfest, atleast compared to what im used to (ayinger, spaten, paulaner etc.) a nice malt body holds up well letting a decent dose of hops come through for a little kick while maintaining a light sweetness. it all comes packaged in a nice medium bodied smooth mouthfeel that goes down very easily. good session brew and easy to down more than a few. not quite as sweet and malty as the oktoberfests ive had thus far and a little light on flavor but it makes for an easy drinking beer.
oh and i believe this is 6.4% abv, which i found suprising.
