Appearance: clear yellowish orange in color sporting a one finger head that slowly recedes. Some spotty lacing develops.
Smell: generally spicy, alcohol notes, and decent Belgian yeast aroma.
Taste: thick maltiness with pears, mild alcohol, yeast, and a hearty spiciness with pepper being most noticable.
Mouthfeel: Crisp all around. Long aftertaste as the malt and spiciness sticks to the tongue for a while. Medium-heavy in body.
Drinkability: nice version but it falls a bit short if comparing to the original Belgian tripels. Still tasty and worth having.

pours out a lightly hazy, lemony golden with a medium thick white head. good lacing. aromas of grass, straw, lemon, light citrus hops and a slight hint of alcohol make up the nose. in the mouth it is very creamy. not sharp like some trippels ive had but very smooth and welcoming. easy to drink. flavors of "summer" seem to be the show with lemons and hearty wheat flavors running rampant. very light hops, and it finishes with a small but noticable alcohol bite. very good beer. i will be back for more. hyped.
