Enjoyed at the taproom at the 4 Queen's casino Downtown Las Vegas.

The beer opens with a standard golden color and great clarity. Head formation was bleached white and airy.

Also very standard of Pilsners are the aromas and flavors. An emphasis on pilsner malts give a crisp, malty taste with no sulfers or phenolic character. Light fruity esters give the beer a little separation from most, albeit a touch out of style.

Where the beer differentiates from most pilsners is in the hops. Assertive herbal hops rise thoroughout the session, making the beer drier, crisper, more bitter, and more interesting than most.

A very enjoyable and bold pilsner that is always worth a visit, especially on those hot Vegas days.

Crystal clear yellow in color with a 1/2" head. The head fell to a surface foam rather quickly. The aroma was mild, as some grassy tones were detectable. The flavor was typical czech pilsner, nice grainy maltiness, grass tones, finishing with a sharp hop bite. This beer had just the right bitterness. Lighter in body. Mouthfeel was crisp and dry at the start and finish. Very nice drinkability with this brew. Worth trying.

Sampled on-tap at the brewpub.

This pilsner poured a slightly hazy golden color with bright white, long-lasting foam that clung to the glass and left lacing. The smell was modest with mostly malt detected (despite the strong hop presence in the flavor). The taste was initially a bit floral with an unexpected grape-like flavor of what seemed to be Munich malt and with some bready malty flavor. The hops emerged in the finish and they were spicy Saaz hops that lingered. The mouthfeel was crisp and smooth with medium body and moderate carbonation. This was a very drinkable pilsner that grew on me after two pints.
