Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy orange color with a big billowy head of off-white foam. The head has a good retention, with it slowly fading over time and leaving a good lot of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather strong of a sour grapefruit smell mixed with sweeter aromas of tangerine and orange. Along with these smells comes a decent showing of orange peel and some herbal and lemongrass smells. There is a little bit of a bready aroma and a touch of pepper mixed in there as well.
Taste -The taste begins with a bready malt flavor mixed with a decent showing of grapefruit and orange. There is also a little bit of herbal hop upfront, with this flavor remaining rather light throughout. The grapefruit gets more bitter and intense, while the sweet orange seems to dissipate. At the same time some lemon and pine join in with the former taking a more pronounced role in the taste toward the end. With a bit of lemongrass and clove joining in at the end, one is left with a moderately bitter and citrusy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness with a rather moderate carbonation level. Overall, the feel is decent for the style and makes for a rather easy sipper.
Overall – A decent hazy overall, with a more sour and grapefruit bitter profile.

Pours a mainly clear golden amber color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is excellent. Aroma of citrus with hints of tropical fruits and very mild breadiness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

"Texas- Hazy/New England-Style IPA- 5.8% ABV. Tangy tropical fruit with a soft bitterness. Cornucopia of berries, stone fruit, and citrus. Dry Hopped with Citra, Bravo, Cryo Pop, with magnum hops for bittering. 34 IBU with a dry finish." -Total Wine's product description.
12 fl oz can nabbed at East 1st Grocery, Austin, TX, USA.
Stonefruit is strong in this one, with citrus taking a backseat. No overt bitterness, fresh fruit, pine, oily hop flavour, or oniony flavour.
Murky with a mediocre hop profile, but not unenjoyable.
