Flip-top growler filled at the brewpub.
Poured first round into my 25oz Pioneer stein #42, formed a 1/4" light tan head over the cloudy orangey amber brew. Head is promptly down to an uneven skim, with coating but sporadic lace. Aroma is nutty and fruity.
Taste starts nutty, goes smoky for a moment, peeks of fruit in the middle, and back to the wisps of smoke, with a rounded bitter close. Mouthfeel is smooth, and drinkability is easy. I bet this would be killer on cask.
