This is a part of their Double IPA series where they vary up the hops. I had a couple that I liked and I've kept buying them since. This is similar to the 2015-64 batch, but it looks like the main difference is that it is double dry hopped with citra. It pours a clear a golden hue, but no head retention at all. Some peach and pineapple in the aroma. It carries over into the flavor of the beer along with some underlying piney, resinous bitterness. It is a little thin. I guess I was lured in with the DDH, but this doesn't really work for me. It hasn't softened up or gotten enough of that tropical fruit character to combine with the citrus undertones.
