Enjoyed on draft at the restaurant, poured into a tulip.
A - Beautiful clarity, a slow train of carbonation meanders its way through a mahogany backdrop. A thin trace of a cap resides on top.
S - A bit of smoke, campfire just fading hot, roast malts, a bit of burnt sugar and a ham steak.
T - Follows the nose, a delightful touch of smoke, not as heavy as Fastenbier but in that ball park. The lager yeast is
put to full use in cleaning up a slightly sweet palate.
M - Smooooooth, hides the ABV well. A slightly sweet start, a bit acidic then the fast exit of the palate.
O - A delightful offering and one that expresses the brewers talent.
