Bought a pint of this at the People's Pint. It poured a nice amber color with minimal head. The aroma was strong and fruity and reminded me very much of a saison. Taste was grainy and malty and finished with a nice caramel aftertaste. Smooth, well-balanced and worth the cost.

Peachy with a little head that dissapeared altogether. Only a faint smell. Light mouthfeel and lots of carbonation. Left with..sourness, which was not as bad as it sounds actually.
I thought this was brand new by what the bartender explained away, as if a little experiment. What kind of Belgium this is I don't know. Leftovers I would guess, that loses taste and impact over time, the yeast has gone away.

Picked up an $8 growler last night at the source. They seem to have a hard time putting this one into a category, the bartender said it was sort of a “barley wine”, but I see it here as a Belgian pale….I called a moment ago and the guy said” its sort of a Belgian style” what ever that means. It seems like more of a Scotch ale to me. Anyway, this one pours from the growler, dark amber, clear, very mellow carbonation and minor, fine head/lacing. Malty is the best word to describe the nose. The mouth feel here is smooth and soft, layers of honey sweet malts cross the tongue. Malty brew, notes of honey, vanilla and a hint of smoky wood. Easy drinking with the alcohol well hidden. Pleasant quaffer that packs a punch. Recommended.

German-style refillable growler filled at People's Pint two days ago.

First imperial pint glass pours with an sparsely, unevenly bubbled head, which left just a few big bubbles along the rim in short order. Seems pretty dead carbonation-wise, whether from serving type or by design is unknown. I will give the benefit of the doubt. Minimal teeny-bubbled lace is present here and there on the glass. Brew is slightly cloudy, with a deep reddish copper hue, and the liquid remains almost completely still.

Aroma is malty, with a light spiciness. Taste is nicely balanced, dusty grains melded with sedate spicing, and a slight lingering malt flavor. Little to no alcohol indication. Mouthfeel is cask-like, smooth over the tongue, and drinkability is quite nice. Flavor keeps you interested, light carbonation makes revisiting easier, and off you go...
