German-style refillable growler filled at People's Pint the other day.
First imperial pint glass pours with a 1/4" beige head over the slightly cloudy orangey amber brew. Head is quickly down to an uneven layer of bubbles, with lacing thin but fully coating and lasting superbly. Aroma is balanced but nondescript. Taste begins with moderate malting, a peek of fruitiness in the middle, and counters and closes with ample but balancing generic hops bitterness. Mouthfeel is soft and smooth, and drinkability is incredibly good. I imagine on cask it would be a dream.

Guess I am the first to review this one. Had on tap at the brew pub. The drink had a murky, dark mahogany appearance with little to no lacing. Aromas had a very full hoppy kaleidescope that was really enticing. Somewhat smoky hint to the overall sweet and herby taste. A solid medium body made this a refreshingly crisp drink and helped maintained some good flavoring. Overall, pretty darn good.
