German-style refillable growler filled at People's Pint the other day.
First imperial pint glass pours with a few bubbles which quickly migrate to the glass rim. Lacing is teensy-bubbled, and for intents and puposes, non-existent. Brew is a clear dark red. Aroma is rich dark malts, no peach that I notice. Flavor is moderate dark sweetness, with a light bitterness at the close. Mouthfeel is kind of thin, and pretty flat, and drinkability is okay. Not what I hoping for here at all.

Had on tap at the brewpub. The beer had a solid black appearance with some lacing on the side. Aromas were a mix of smoked nuts and bready biscuits. A tasty, bitter flavoring to this drink with a generally yeasty hint. Medium body helped this be light, airy and creamy. As my wife said, this was probably the best beer she had, and she sadly hates beer. Overall, a nice finish to a great meal.

This is not a very good beer. Made from the secondary sugars from the Impy Stout. Probably should have been left in the barrel. Finshed off with a peach infusion. To me, peaches and a dark ale should never , ever go together.
Any balsy beer should be more than 4%. From its inception this beer was doomed.
Avoid.
