From the bottle, it pours a slightly off golden color with a modest head. The head lasts a bit. The scent is grainy. The taste is similar and it lacks the pilsner bite. I see this as more of a Helles or straight lagerbier than a Pilsner. Nice flavor, though.

Clear lemon gold with a nice head that disappears in a few minutes. Fresh sweet malty smell. Taste is grainy, a little sweet with some hops. Feel is clean and refreshing. Overall, a nice pilsener.

Foundry, Northampton, MA.
A- Draft pour to a becher glass with a clear yellow gold body and foamy white head. Decent retention falling to a large ring. A few small sheets of lace.
S- Hefty dose of pale fruits like white grapes and apple leading to Pils grains, bread, crackers and something buttery. Herbal and spicy.
T- Again the profile is led by the esters which don't feel correct in this style. Sweetness with those fruits combines strangely with the herbal, spicy, grassy and floral hops. Cereal grains and bread.
MF- Medium to thick bodied and very creamy. Puffy and not really all that crisp. Finishes slightly bitter.
Seems way to estery for the style. A sweetness is also present and it takes away from the crisp and clean experience I expect in a Pils. Its not bad but rating to style is necessary.

The People's Pilsener pours a bright gold with a one- finger head into my glass. Brilliant.
Crisp, buttery malt with a touch of hops. I don't think I could ask for much more.
Wow. Buttery malt with just the right touch of hops.Quenchable.
Very nice amount of linering grain and hops at the back of the throat.
Highly recommended for a hot day.
