Our award-winning Ichthyosaur Pale Ale HOPTIMIZED. Higher gravity, lots more hops. Same great taste, just more of it!

Growler filled earlier today at the Sparks location
Pours a very clear dark golden orange with two fingers of white foam. Great lacing and retention on this, moderate carbonation stemming from the bottom of the glass. Looks great, I wish all my pours were this good
A lot of hops off the nose, very strong citrus notes. Lots of tangerine and mandarin, grapefruit and some pine. Robust and sweet malty backbone
Taste follows the aroma pretty well, many of the hop flavors translate well giving it also strong upfront citrus, again orange and grapefruit with hints of pine. Finishes with a bready caramel malt and a touch of alcohol
Feel is a moderate body with a dry finish. Pretty heavy bitterness, alcohol hidden well, has a nice bite at the end. Very drinkable, no problems finishing this growler
Overall this is everything the regular Icky isn't as a west coast ipa. I hope this and the other stronger ipas they've had on tap lately start getting brewed more often
