Got a half gallon Growler and drank it throughout the day.
A nice reddish color which seemed a bit odd for an Oktoberfest, more red than the growler of Truckee River Red I also purchased. Had a good head that left very nice lacing.
Smell wasn't spectacular, slightly aromatic with a malty base and a bit of hops.
Taste was pretty good. Malty and a bit spicy with a hoppy note that finishes nice. Almost seems under-carbonated, but the slow rolling active carbonation is great. Goes down very smooth, so smooth that I couldn't stop drinking it.
This is definately something I hope to get again, possibly this fall before it's all gone, but then the other seasonals may pass me by.
