Poured into a standard pint glass from home kegerator. Pours a clear brown mahogany color, about 1/2"-1" of off white head, that disipates very slowly.
The smell of this brown ale has hints of a nutty, toasted aroma. The flavor stays right in line with the smell. Upon first taste the toasted nutty flavor comes out, which stays with you even after swallowing. A very pleasent aftertaste.
The mouthfeel is moderate to heavy, This beer does not go thin or watery while in you mouth, a nice characteristic.
This is a nice average brown ale that fits well within the style guidelines. Not a standout in this style, but a very nice brown ale that can be enjoyed over and over again.
