A pour that isn't black, but owes more of its appearance to a brown color moreso. It does look better than the OG mollie's though, not that such a thing is a monumental task. Sizeable 4/5" beige head with good retention. Aroma is almost nothing on the top. Roasted malt is just absent.
Taste wise, its totally smooth, feels like no carbonation or taste going on mouth feel wise. It is very creamy, and they hit that spot well, but its like there is no substance to this. It never made sense for me making a nitro version of something that was already lacking some ooomph. Despite the commercial tug job's assertion about a "rich, full body" it is pretty much the opposite of that. Its a thin, weak body. Of all the stouts during stout week at Great Basin, this is definitely the weakest and my least favorite.
