A brewer’s celebration of our intriguing region. This rich and malty brew is accented with the delicate flavor of buttery piñon pine nuts and aromatic juniper berry and sage.

On tap. Lovey amber color. Sweet malty smell, with fruity hints. Taste is also sweet, caramel malt, dark fruit, cherry, slightly floral, a bit of citrus. Very smooth, with a surprising alcohol warmth. Really good.

On tap at Manderes' (Folsom) 1 year anniversary pour.
A - Orange, with off-white 3 fingered head, it took forever to dissipate. Leaves a really nice trail.
S - Pine nuts, orange zest, and citrus.
T - Pine nuts, caramel, citrus, and a pininess from the hops.
M - Well balanced, very syrupy and sweet. Great for a cold night.
D - Very good overall. The juniper berries lend themselves to the citrusy flavor while you can taste the fresh pine nuts.
