Thanks, Eric! Bottle poured into tulip.
A - Pours a reddish amber color, cream-colored head, thin ring.
S - Smells like Christmas. Spices, brown sugar, cinnamon, some fruity sweetness.
T - Tastes like Christmas. Light fruity notes, spices of nutmeg, cinnamon, malty sweetness, slight pine. Not too bad.
M - Medium body, good carbonation, malty spiced finish.
O - A decent winter warmer, nothing too crazy. That said, I'm not all that excited about this style to being with, but hey, this is pretty good if you like this style.

A big heavy treat at the bottom of my xmas stocking.
This gorgous swing-top bottle (more than 750lm for sure) comes with an individual bottle number and brewmaster signature in silver sharpie on the side. Real sharp. I'll re reusing this swingtop for homebrew, or maybe just put up on display.
Deep rich copper and a nice tan foam.
This one screams American Winter Warmer. Solid spicing (nutmeg, clove) and rich overripe fruit/
Bit nutty with some alcohol warming, especially on the exhale after a nice swig.
A tad overcarbonated, but i'll chalk that up to personal preference.
If your in Reno ever...for what ever terrible reason. This brewery may prove your salvation. I would love to try some other brews of theirs. I really liked how this limited release was bottled and how personal the brewmaster made it with his signiture.

A very big thanks goes out to the wonderful BA who sent this bottle to me. Bottle # out of 200. I was thrilled to see such a limited bottling run make it to my door. Served chilled and poured into a pilsner glass, this one was consumed on 01/03/2009.
The pour was very nice. A rich copper color with nice clarity and some very nice streams of carbonation coming up to the surfacr throughout the session. A rich looking white head came up over the top and settled down gently into a nice pillow of white.
The aroma was charged with spice. Lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, hints of caramel malts and a light hoppiness throughout. The flavor was absolutly classic for a winter warmer. This thing was all about the holiday flavor. Rich nutty flavor, some touches of nutmeg, cinnamon, lots of all spice. Very rich with no hint of alcohol at all. Smooth, mellow feel on this one with just enough carbonation to set off the medium bodied ale. Easily a nice slow evening beer, the only thing keeping this from being even more drinkable was the richness of the profile.
Overall a very solid winter beer and something that really just begs to be drank on a old winter night. One of the better winter warmers I have had.
