Engine 15 posted a status on Facebook for their new Tap 42 beer, it was this Raspberry Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout. After having seen a couple peanut butter beers here on BA I just couldn't pass up trying this brew.
Appearance was very dark, tannish head.
Aroma had a raspberry and chocolatey note to it.
Taste started off with a raspberry flavor, then came a little bit of chocolate, then a kick to the tonsils of peanut butter, finishing smooth.
Mouthfeel was much like a breakfast stout, full bodied flavor. Felt like drinking a meal.
Overall, I very much enjoyed this beer. It was very different, unique and unusual. I don't really know how else to describe or categorize it . If in the area you have to at least get a sample of Tap 42 while it lasts.
