I tried this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with ecru head that did not leave any lace. The scent had hints of chocolate. The taste was nicely balanced any easy to drink with semi sweet chocolate presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

On tap at the JAX Beach brewpub.
Dark black-brown colored body with a good beige head.
Mild aroma for style features sweet malts and dark roasted grains.
Flavor: hits the tongue lightly sweet but finish with mild bitterness. Mild flavor for style. Hints of dark toast and coffee.
Feel: Medium-full body; near medium carbonation.
Overall: a solid version of the style with neither notable flaws nor exceptional attributes.

Oily inky black brew; looks thicker than it actually is (spoilers?).
The nose is nearly inscrutable, giving up little else besides light chocolate. It's not unpleasant, but it is nearly nonexistent.
The palate is little more revealing, with toast and toffee, cream, bitter chocolate, and some vegetal tones. Aftertaste prominently features chocolate.
This is, in pretty much every respect, an OK-to-slightly-good brew. I wouldn't turn it down, but I wouldn't order it again, either.
