This is a good stout. Not great, not average. Good.
Pours a deep black/brown with oatmeal colored head, good retention and nice lace.
Nose shows a lot of dark fruit with coffee, cocoa, and smoked game. The palate confirms the dark fruit, some spice, and coffee. Texture is rich and viscous with good integration and nice balance. Overall a good stout, and worth a pint.
