From the bottle: Off the Wagon dunkel rye is a beer for a Northwest Spring. Great for drinking in the sunshine, but just as delicious on those rainy days. A touch of malted rye gives this beer a spicy quality that intermingles with the roast and malt sweetness. This is a beer that you will see through spring and on into summer.

Pours medium to dark brown, smallish head to it. Smell is of faint rye, not very strong. Taste is light to medium bodied, very rye heavy upfront and an average finish. Pretty balanced and a solid taste to it, with the rye making the taste a tad bit too astringent for my liking. Bought a bomber of this for $4.99, drinkable and nice to try but not sure I'd seek it out again.
