Sampled on-tap at the brewpub in April 2006.
This double pilsner poured a clear, golden color with creamy, bright white foam that slowly settled and coated the inside of the glass. There was no visible carbonation from the bottom of the glass. The smell was malt with a faint hint of biscuity malt. The taste was malty, lager malt, with mild hoppiness in the finish. There was a slight sweetness in the finish and aftertaste. The mouthfeel was smooth and crisp with medium body and medium carbonation. A nice pilsner feel. This was a smooth and refreshing beer with the 7.5% ABV well concealed.
