Consumed on draft at brewery, 12/30/07.
Clear, medium coppery hue. Thin skin of foam. No active carbonation. Aroma = nothing. Flavor is big, thick, sweet and strong with a pronounced yeast note. Mild black pepper and cinnamon aftertase. Did not notice the high ABV in this one. A significant barleywine due to its smoothness, balance and drinkability.
Would order again.
